Said the Protestant-in-denial.
So what do you believe? "Anti-Denominationalism" I know, but doctrinally what do you believe? About the sacraments (or lack thereof), etc.
It would take a long time to lay out the entirety of Christianity wouldn't it? I am not even being unironic when I suggest just sitting down and studying the New Testament for a good lay of the land.
But let's just hit a few cornerstones.
I believe in the Trinity. Salvation through faith, but works and fruits as an expression of faith. Jesus was born of a virgin, God in human flesh, lived a sinless life, died as a perfect sacrifice for all sins of all those who lived or would ever live, ressurected 3 days later, and now sits at the right hand of the Father. Any who embrace that salvation and are born again will go to Heaven when they die.
There's so much more but there's the basis of it, right?
Anyway, no, not a Prot. My faith is derived from the New Testament and discernment that God has provided to read His Word. I feel like most everyone depends on someone else to tell them what they believe.
Narrow is the way, I guess.
So, like literally all Protestants, Catholics, and Orthodox, then.
Also, you pretty much said an uber simplified Nicene Creed.
We believe (I believe) in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, and born of the Father before all ages. (God of God) light of light, true God of true God. Begotten not made, consubstantial to the Father, by whom all things were made. Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven. And was incarnate of the Holy Ghost and of the Virgin Mary and was made man; was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate, suffered and was buried; and the third day rose again according to the Scriptures. And ascended into heaven, sits at the right hand of the Father, and shall come again with glory to judge the living and the dead, of whose Kingdom there shall be no end. And (I believe) in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of life, who proceeds from the Father (and the Son), who together with the Father and the Son is to be adored and glorified, who spoke by the Prophets. And one holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. We confess (I confess) one baptism for the remission of sins. And we look for (I look for) the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen."
You're acting like you're somehow unique in what you believe, but you're not. Do you not think all Christians are seeking God like you do? Or are you supposedly the chosen one because you slap a nonsensical name on it?
