IIRC elderly people are usually diagnosed with Stage 4 because the cancer is able to masquerade as "random elderly assortment" illness up until then.

My great-grandfather died of...blood cancer, I think.

He once cut himself on the cheek during shaving, and he never recovered from it.

If I would had money I would had donated money but also funding a cure. Unfortunately I'm not so rich and I don't find help in people. Sorry.

At this point medical care is probably not going to actually cure it but attempt to manage it/make his life more comfortable

I find this extremely ironic, as I once portrayed him in a school play, and my dad was diagnose with cancer at the same time...

Oh no. And that’s one of the worst cancers you can have. As a long time Jeopardy fan (and I have attempted to get on the show, but I’ve never gotten past the online quiz stage), that is devastating.

If the worst does happen, will CBS cancel the show or will they find a new host? I don’t want to see the show die, but I don’t know if it would be the same without Alex.

But I’m still going to hold out on a miracle. Get well soon, Alex.

A reverse process to the cancer core cells and the regeneration of the natural cells of the human body can be a progress. However today research is not so optimal and takes time, too much time.

He needs to beat cancer because he can't get out of his contract to host Jeopardy for three more years. Love that man, making light of an announcement that would obviously worry a lot of people. But a contract's a contract, and I don't suppose death will get him out of it.

It basically means that the cancer has metastacized to other organs in his body. It generally means you are not going to survive, particularly with pancreatic cancer.
