https://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php/N ... icy_Center(The National Legal and Policy Center’s) predominate sources of funding are the Scaife Foundations.
Richard Mellon Scaife is heir to the Mellon banking, oil and aluminum fortune. He is the premier financier for right wing political and policy organizations in the United States. The Mellon family owns Gulf Oil. See also Scaife Foundations.
Although Mr. Scaife is the owner of Pittsburgh's second largest newspaper, the Tribune-Review; he made his mark financing Republican politics and organizations. Ronald Reagan appointed many veterans of Scaife funded think tanks to his administration. According to Newt Gingrich, Scaife's money laid the basis for modern conservatism. Critics have referred to Scaife as "spoiled, vindictive and narrow minded." Former employee Pat Minarcin edited a magazine for Scaife in Pittsburgh, but resigned after he presented the magazine with a list of people he wanted to attack. Scaife operates in extreme secrecy from the 39th floor of his Pittsburgh office tower and does not grant interviews or allow cameras.
Lmao
AOC derangement syndrome is real

Calling the accusations slander is a bit generous by legal standards. I do think this is being more than over-played. That said, Democrats can't really cry foul given that they've been hopping on every accusation hurled the other way for around two years. And many decrying the treatment of Senator Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez were quite insistent in attempting to nail Donald Trump for collusion and Brett Kavanaugh for rape with very flimsy evidence at times. But I suppose that's the bread and butter of political theater.

I think it's perfectly fair to say that a person who was elected to serve as representative and then turns around and says "I'm in charge"and "you’re just shouting from the cheap seats." does not know her place. That is not the language of a person who was elected to serve Queens and the Bronx. That is dictatorial elitist language.

Language truly unbecoming a representative of any part of the famously polite and well-mannered city of New York.

Aclion wrote:Apples and oranges. Trump and Kavanaugh deny that they did those things. AOC does not. So the fact's aren't subject to dispute. What she has disputed is whether these thing were technically illegal. And from a political standpoint it simply doesn't matter if they were. Being caught enriching yourself from your campaign is a scandal regardless.

I may be a good in the kitchen, but would you really trust me to handle your food, Iffy? I would. Because I'm well-mannered and polite and meals aren't for poisoning your political enemies but for winning their friendship. That's right. Imma put feminism in your food instead of cyanide!

You think you can just rig the game that easily, Fahran? When the revolution inevitably comes, you're gonna get the wall for this! And not just the wall, but four walls with windows and doors in them, and a roof and all sorts of cool shit to put inside of it, and healthcare and democracy and all sorts of other cool shit because everyone deserves to have that kinda cool ass shit! Yeah, that's right, you nerd! We're gonna treat you like a human being, whether or not you like it! >:3

That, or you’ll unload a bullet in the back of my head for disagreeing.

If I wanted to be treated like a human being, I would have gone into the premed program or become an officer in my sorority.
Banter aside, we might be drifting off from the conversation a bit. I suspect that a couple replies in the next hour about how everyone is wrong and how they should feel bad for being wrong will redress this listlessness.
