highly unlikely to kill someone via milkshake but it could technically happen.
Just knock a guy out, strap him to a table, pour a delicious and smooth caramel treat down his gullet, bam he chokes to death. Or use a turbine engine to lob a few milkshakes into his gob

So what anti-Semitism are we raving about today?
The antisemitism that's absolutely rampant in the Labour party. Much as the Tories and the right wing media are crying crocodile tears over it while ignoring the Islamophobia within their own ranks, it's rather hard to deny that Labour's full of people so high on revolutionary politics they'll conflate the Netenyahu government with all Jews, and buy into conspiratorial crap about Jews controlling the media/banks/world.

Corbyn is a Eurosceptic. Or at the very least, was, for a very long time.Painisia wrote:The political landscape is quickly changing. It isn't actually. Studies on the attitudes of labour members, even by Jewish organizatiions, show there are less anti-Semitic members than the tories, and about as anti-Semitic as the general public. The issue comes with:
1. Generally Labour is ahead of the public on these issues, but for Jews this isn't the case.
2. It's a political party and discusses politics. You know more anti-semites than you think, but you don't discuss politics with them so they remain hidden. In Labour, they're not hidden.
3. Detection and whistleblowing is high in the labour party compared to the Tories.

If you are still pondering who to vote for in the elections, this might help.
For me personally, once I filtered it down to National Parties, I get Labour, the Greens and Lib Dems at the top. Brexit party isnt available as an option apparently, so I'm stuck pondering between the Brexit party as a protest vote, or the Labour party - which is exactly where I was before.Pets at polling stations is a institution nowadays. An Alan Smithee Nation wrote:There was a cat in my polling station. I've not had the chance to vote, I leave for work before 6am, so I have to decide if I want to vote when I get home.

It is worth a read in general. So is Channel 4's fact checking teams piece about this exact study. The takeaway from it is that one study does not prove anything either way, which is well in line with my personal beliefs that a studies results must be reproduced to be valuable.Ostroeuropa wrote:

Well worth a read in general.
HIs largest backers and the reason he is leader of the Labour Party, momentum are the largest pro-eu group in the party as a whole. The Blairites are also pro-EU, and a much larger force in parliament than in the party. He's accountable to these two forces (Momentum more than other MPs) whilst his own interests tend to align counter to theirs.Painisia wrote:He was a Eurosceptic I see, but I feel that he is trying to cater the Pro-EU Blairites in his own party. Maybe he is much more free now as the Remainers in Labour have fled to the Independents.
