You really don't seem to understand the criminal underworld. They're not likely to stab you, they have your money, now they just want you to piss off. If you think they are going to stab you and try and attack them first while unarmed, they will stab you.

Your English is hard to parse, but yeah... it should. They most likely are after some easy money, that's why they're robbing you. There's no reason to think they'd kill you just for lols, it doesn't benefit them to kill you, and if they are then you're probably dead anyway.

It really would. They want your stuff and then they want to get as far away as possible very quickly. Stabbing you would slow them down.

You’d need to identify them first. And most muggers use these things called masks, they tend to hide your identity very well

Absolutely not true, at all. Rule one of combat: avoid if at all possible. Rule two of combat: if you're outnumbered and on your own, try to avoid even if it seems impossible, because you will not win.

Yeah, I remember a story about a black belt getting robbed. I can’t imagine beating up several people with knives. Years of inconsistently going to martial arts isn’t enough to make up for being that outnumbered and overpowered. Given what I ever carry, I wouldn’t have anything useful enough. Sadly, kill them all doesn’t work in this scenario.

Even with a gun, 3 people with knives vs 1 with a gun at close range isn't going to finish up well for anybody involved, including the person with the gun.

Because conviction rates for muggings are ludicrously low, and if they are caught, it's not really that bad a sentence, in the grand scheme of things. If they murder you, they're spending most of the rest of their lives in prison.

Not Therm, but have done similar training, and it's "throw them your wallet and run like fuck".

The most I carry is a pocket knife and a flashlight. It’s funny when you practice with a weapon that you wouldn’t have. Unless there happens to be a long rod or something like a broom, I wouldn’t have any advantage over them object wise. At least with something other than a knife you would have some distance. The knife also is more psychological factor for me. It would harder for me to get closer if I know I could get stabbed. The scenario would be a lot more appealing if I had anything that would be very useful. The best case scenario is I walk away bloody and beaten, probably still with no wallet.
