To actually answer, I either leg it, or I just give my wallet. Depending on how good my training actually was.

I might ask if they just take the cash, it's a hassle to replace things that are quite useless to them like my credit card, health insurance card, etc. It's not like I won't block those immediately.

No offense, but I get this feeling you've never had to worry about what will pay for your next meal. If your life is in the gutter, money and good luck is all you have to pull yourself out of it. Love might keep you sane longer, but unless someone's giving you a place to stay and eat for free, or a job, it won't get you anywhere.
