The investigation was done over only a few days and the proof that Vic has done anything wrong isn't forthcoming other than rumor or speculation. If Vic is guilty to any degree, what convinces me more is the fact that Vic himself is apologizing for his behavior on his official page, implying that he recognizes that he wasn't disciplined enough or that it is partially true. If Vic genuinely believed that he's done nothing wrong, he could double down like Donald Trump would and call everyone a liar.

What we do know is that Vic has kept quiet for the most part and perhaps gotten a lawyer whilst his former coworkers are just badmouthing him and blowing up with internet randoms over social media if they dare to ask questions or be skeptical. The behavior of Monica Rial and Jamie Marchi makes me suspect that they might be full of BS on this at worst, or are just going about all of this unprofessionally at best.

Haven’t really seen much evidence that Vic really did anything. Granted, the apologizing does seem suspicious but it’d hardly be the first time someone apologized for something that they didn’t do to save face. I’d be surprised if he did do anything but I’m going to reserve judgement until better evidence surfaces.

I heard about these rumors since 2008 and supposedly there were even photos of him drinking with and kissing (not on the mouth) an underage fan, who apparently lied and used a fake id to get the alcohol. The fact these rumors have existed for so long and I've heard them come out of all types of corners from fans and staff alike, I have reason to believe them on some level. I never saw the video, but my friends claimed to. However, his apology seemed sincere. Possibly, it is the most sincere apology I've heard in the past few years. He even said he's seeing a therapist to try and get better, so. Good on him. I don't believe that everyone who makes inappropriate touches towards people, even if they do it often, is intentionally trying to sexually harass them or be inappropriate. I'm also reluctant to call it all blatant sexual harassment...I think it's ridiculous to call someone hugging you without asking sexual harassment. A violation of boundaries, sure. Some people don't understand boundaries, some do but don't understand body language...even with an extensive history of these rumors, I do recognize they are still rumors, and I've yet to see evidence. And even if they're true, as I said, his apology seemed very sincere, both his written and verbal one. He's truly remorseful and understanding, which is beyond what I'd hope for. I'm a survivor of a sex crime, and I forgive him.

In response to those who say accusers should be unconditionally believed, reactionaries have gone way past "innocent until proven guilty/let's see the evidence" all the way to accusers should be unconditionally disbelieved. Now every time there is one of these stories, from the moment the most vague tweet about it hits the internet, you are guaranteed to see people who dismiss the accusations as fabricated from the start, using the same absolutist mentality of those they claim to oppose.

Basically everyone is supposed to have a camera on their person at all times recording everything that happens to them or anything they claimed happened didn't happen.
