As a Spaniard, I've grown just so disillusioned with Spain's future that I just don't know what to vote. Also, the growth of antidemocratic elements in basically all major Spanish parties worries me.

I always voted PSOE, as I’ve always despised PP’s platform. But PSOE is by no means the best.

I did last election, but honestly they are experts on talking a lot without saying nothing. Furthermore, some of their electoral tactics were questionable and they overrely on decrees to pass policies that are populist at best. And after all the shitshow with Podemos, I'm very reluctant of voting for them again. I was never a strong PSOE supporter anyway, in fact I hate myself for supporting them last election.

Sánchez is an utter buffoon, let’s be honest-but he’s still the best chance we have.

A new party has splintered off of Unidas Podemos. The party's co-founder, Enigo Errejon, has broke off with a few others and formed Mas Pais(More Country):https://www.yahoo.com/news/party-left-adds-spanish-election-204849504.html

I'm going to wait and see how they appear in the polls before deciding to add them to the poll.

I saw a poll with Mas Pais has them on 5.2% or about 9 seats, it was the first one with them available.

If there is one thing the Left is famous for, it is unity.

Apologies to all who have voted, the poll is automatically reset. Mas Pais has been added to the poll.

Not my point, the civil war was because the Nationalists wanted to overthrow the the Republicans. The Left during the war was split among itself between communists, liberals, socialists and anarchists, and there was a lack of unity, sort of like there is now.

I perfectly know why there was a civil war in my own country. And not my point either, I'm criticizing how people tend to look at the current situation and randomly scream "civil war!". It applies to the US as well but I do not want to bring the US into everything.

Yes, the political climate in Spain in tense, especially in Catalonia and after recent events. But from here to full military confrontation there's a long way, despite a general lack of political unity on the left.

Yep. Honestly, we are not on the verge of a civil war. Despite every difference, we do like our system as it currently stands, somewhat. This is not going to end up in another civil war.

Cs is now saying they'll work with Sanchez and PSOE if the numbers are there after November and has proposed a unity government between them and PP: https://www.yahoo.com/news/spains-ciudadanos-proposes-working-socialists-125821791.html

Meh, I'd say that all of the choices are equally bad. Why? Spanish Politics: La Cantinela de Siempre, but with different names.

That being said, I'd probably vote for PP and/or VOX (I align with them regarding stuff like the autonomies and law enforcement), but, eh, I know no party will actually win.

Ironic considering your nation's name.

Anyway, as you said, all choices are just so bad. I'm seriously considering not even voting.

Obligatory "this nation doesn't reflect my IRL views" message I guess :P

Quite honestly, I'm surprised with how recently the "no absolute majority" elections are happening... last one with a situation like this before April's elections was in 2015 IIRC.

Bipartidism needed to die, unfortunately, this still has not provided us with appealing political parties.
