I am a Hindu, so technically we believe all our gods were once human (except for the universal force of Brahman). How they ascended to a godly position we through being a near perfect human. Therefore, the laws they followed are more important than the gods themselves.

like is it acceptable for girls to ask guys to go? is it acceptable to bring a date who isnt a senior? Is it acceptable for same sex couples to dance - or do they just have to be 'going with a bunch of friends'? How short is acceptable for a dress? do guys have to wear a suit? is of cosage required? should not cool people be allowed in my presence? If I don't go to the Prom can I still come to the after party?
just what does God want me to know about Prom?

I am following the laws of the land. "God's" laws are far too arbitrary for me to follow, and I don't believe in any gods anyway, so I see no reason to take any holy books seriously.
