Well since you want Italy to abandon its territorial waters I suppose it follows that you want Italy to stop having coast guard patrols.
It's kinda weird that you say that the moral thing to do is rescue people, but also you seem to want very badly to find a way to justifiably let them drown.
It's the typical far right performativity. It's impossible to be both far right and a moral person who deserves to be taken seriously, but they can't just act like absolute scumbags all the time or people will catch on to the fact that they are bad faith actors, so they sprinkle a bit of lip-service to morality, propriety, civility, etc.
It's kind of like when a fast food restaurant puts out ads about the dangers of diabetes.
