Does he get drunk on the job? Did he get caught taking bribes? Did he contribute to a process that started the disintegration of his country? If not, then he's better than Poroshenko. Whether he'll be better than Timoshenko or Yanukovich is debatable. Also, I wonder if Ukraine's next president will be named Vladimir?

Leonid Kravchuk
Leonid Kuchma
Viktor Yushenko
Viktor Yanukovich
Vladimir Zelenski
Vladimir ???

Servant of the People: 43.9%
OP-FL: 11.5%
European Solidarity: 8.9%
Fatherland: 7.6%
Holos: 6.3%

Under Threshold:
Stregnth and Honour: 4.4%
OB-PM: 3.3%
Party of Shariy(Anatoly Shariy): 3.1%
Radicals: 2.8%
Ukrainian Strategy: 2.2%
Svoboda 2.1%

So Servant of the People's locked up the PR seats, next comes the FPTP seats.

So if parties come in under threshold, does their percentage get reallocated to the general pool? If so, that gives Servant of the People the majority. Ok Zelensky, let's see if you can do better than Yanukovich and/or Timoshenko.

It's Ukraine Ris. You're expecting it to make sense - there's your problem.

It gives them the majority of the PR seats, but that's only the Rada. The FPTP constituency seats are the other half. Here are the current numbers with both the lists and the ridings:

Servant of the People: 144
Fatherland: 38
Radicals: 23
European Solidarity: 23
OB-PMR(now just OB, technically,): 2
Independent: 2

Bear in mind, these are REALLY early hard numbers with 0.05% reporting.

Looks like he's going to win it all. Btw, thank you for your election threads - they tend to rock!

Oh, thank you, I've got Austria finally warming up soon, Portugal, Switzerland and Argentina in the next month, and possibly revival for Spain if the confidence vote there fails tomorrow...but enough of that.

With just two seats left to count, it's a Servant of the People majority Rada.

Servant of the People: 252
OP-FL: 44
European Solidarity: 25
Fatherland: 25
Holos: 21
Independents and Others: 55

Thats a big landslide if there was ever one. Now lets see if they make any use of that majority.
