The wife of White House communications director Bill Shine on Wednesday went on an anti-vaccine tirade while spreading conspiracy theories about an outbreak of measles in the Pacific north-west.

In a series of tweets, Darla Shine lashed out against a CNN segment detailing the outbreak, which has seen more than 50 unvaccinated people contract measles in Washington state and Oregon.

“Here we go LOL #measlesoutbreak on #CNN #Fake #Hysteria,” Darla Shine tweeted.

Then..

Faced with criticism over her comments, Shine accused “the Left” of attempting to smear her. She also suggested, without evidence, that measles can cure cancer.

Seems the new angle of the right media is to talk about the golden days when we all swam in pig shit and were healthier for it before the lefty SJWs came and ruined everything with their 'hygiene'.

She said WHAT?! Oh my gosh. Is this real, or some kind of hoax? Please tell me she did not actually say that.

Course she did..

Here is a study from Scientists at Mayo Clinic who were interviewed by CNN and they say they have clinical studies that #Measles Virus kills #Cancer

Here's the report.. https://returntonow.net/2019/02/09/meas ... -36-hours/

Though it's kind of challenged here.. https://scienceblog.cancerresearchuk.or ... t-exactly/

Of course Returntonow.net is..

..dedicated to helping humans live fully in the present, while gleaning tips on how to do so from our distant past. It’s a new kind of “news” website, whose contributors are not as concerned with current events as we are with the whole of the human experience. Topics will include rewilding, primitivism, modern “tribal” living, tips for getting off the grid, sustainability, natural health, peaceful parenting, and sexual and spiritual awakening.

Whereas cancerresearchuk.org..

We fund scientists, doctors and nurses to help beat cancer sooner. We also provide cancer information to the public.

So I'm not sure who to believe..

And its this sort of misinformation that is dangerous.

While it is technically true that the measles virus is being tested to cure cancer, this does not mean that getting measles in the wild cures or prevents cancer.

The specific strain of measles being tested is genetically modified to specifically target cancer cells, and eventually kills them. Regular measles strains are not nearly so discriminating.

Further, the method hasn't been shown to actually fully work in humans yet.

The WHO has it completely correct. Anti-Vaxxers are a threat, I heard in some places measles are coming back it’s ridiculous. Even if what they said was remotely true about Autism I’d rather have an Autistic child than a dead one.

Agreed.

Autism should be even considered a gift if one gets it. We could have the next Einstein. :p

That would be awesome if vaccines created the next Einstein.

For pity's sake, measles causes encephalitis on about 1 out 1,000 cases, which can damage the brain. So they are risking death or severe brain dage to their kids to avoid autism.

Brilliant.

Seriously?!? They say measles cure cancer yet hundreds are dying here in the Philippines because most haven’t vaccinated themselves. If it cures cancer, then why are those in the hospital wards sick of measles.

Btw, most in the Philippines are unvaccinated due to the lack of information. Not like those people in the US who have full access to vaccines but don’t vaccinate because “muh child will have autism”.

The WHO noted today..

The World Health Organization has warned that efforts to halt the spread of measles are “backsliding”, with case numbers worldwide surging around 50% last year.

The UN health agency pointed to preliminary data showing that the disturbing trend of resurgent measles cases was happening at a global level, including in wealthy nations where vaccination coverage has historically been high.

“Our data are showing that there is a substantial increase in measles cases. We’re seeing this in all regions,” said Katherine O’Brien, WHO’s director of immunisation and vaccines.

The concept of a recombinant virus is not new. Viruses are simply extremely effective at infiltrating cells so it makes sense we use them. I don't know what type of virus the measles is, but evidently they've modified it. I'm certain that the "measles virus" that can "cure cancer" does not contain a single coding sequence for the proteins leading to measles symptoms, and is probably also limited in its replicative power.

Evidently you then have some people can't or won't read and then start to believe measles can cure cancer.

Good riddance.

No. Mandatory vaccinations are a good idea, but calling it child abuse might mean that their children are taken away.
