No point, no Arab party in this government, which means Hamas starting up won't ruin the gov't either.

Nope. Ra'am will be in the government, or at least offering support. Without them the government would only have 58 seats. Just 3 shy of a majority, with Ra'am they get 62

Yeah, it seems Netanyahu is finally going to be out of power. With criminal charges and a trial looming, his political days seem numbered. Now the question becomes, how long does this new governing coalition last- and whether it forms.

I admit I find it hard to assume considering he has not acted like he would be innocent, especially after the barrage in Gaza that ended up doing more harm than good to him and to Israel itself.

Doesn't matter to the point. He gets as many "no," votes as yes, likud can't move forward till he is gone.

Ra'am negotiates its way towards the halls of power

United Arab List Chairman Mansour Abbas said on Tuesday he was "optimistic" about the chances of forming a new coalition, going into meetings with leaders of the anti-Netanyahu bloc at Kfar Maccabiah in central Israel.
Asked by reporters whether his party would be part of the ruling coalition or sit in the opposition, Abbas said it will be "part of the coalition." Abbas, who made greater involvement in Israel's politics a key election promise, also emphasized the need to finalize the "good plans" negotiation teams came up with for some pressing issues the Arab community faces. His Islamist party, which split from the Joint List, is focusing on finalizing agreements with Yamina, and particularly its number two, Ayelet Shaked.
On Monday, United Arab List Chairman Mansour Abbas met with Yamina lawmaker Ayelet Shaked as part of negotiations toward the creation of a coalition government headed by Yamina Chairman Naftali Bennett and Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid.
Members of the parties opposed to the continuation of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s rule believe Abbas will support the formation of a Bennett-Lapid government if it comes to a vote in the Knesset. Abbas has said a number of times in recent weeks that he will consider backing any coalition if it agrees to his party’s demands.

Abbas wants funds to be earmarked for a program to boost education in the Arab community and combat organized crime, and to head a Knesset committee that would direct the money to it.
The sources also said he had demanded the revocation of a contentious 2017 law that made punishment for construction violations much more severe and has the most effect on Arab towns, where the planning process can take decades. He has also asked to be named as one of the Knesset’s deputy speakers, according to the sources, but has not demanded that the Nation-State Law be amended or revoked.
Shaked is expected to be appointed interior minister in the future government, and Abbas hopes to appoint a lawmaker from his party as her deputy. Moreover, Shaked demands that she be given a spot on the Knesset Judicial Appointments Committee instead of Labor Chairwoman Merav Michaeli, saying that this is her condition for Yamina joining the government.

First time an Arab party is in the government. it seems they are negotiating for the possible, very smart on their part.

only Netanyahu could make everyone on the left and right to get together to say "hit the road jack" to him

Yeah, but the election that follows will be the last for a while since there won't be any more reticence to working with Likud.

Netanyahu claims that removing him from power will cause "a collapse of the global right-wing - from the United States to The Hague"

"The overthrowing of Netanyahu will cause a collapse of the global right-wing - from the United States to The Hague," read the tweet shared by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's official Twitter account.
The statement, made by Yamina MK Amichai Chikli, who has stated that he will not be joining the coalition led by Yamina leader Naftali Bennett and Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid, was part of a larger article which was retweeted by Netanyahu on Friday afternoon.

MK Amichai Chikli defected from Bennett's Yamina in May after saying that he would vote against any government which included Meretz and the Joint List.

Speaking to the "Background Talk" podcast on Thursday night, Chikli said that "taking down a guillotine" on Netanyahu was a global event that he felt from "the Biden administration in Washington, to the ayatollahs in Iran, Hezbollah, Europe, and even to the Hague tribunal."

Earlier in the article, Chikli called Netanyahu an "icon of the global right," and compared him to former US president Donald Trump.

The article shared by the Rotter Net twitter account went largely unnoticed until Netanyahu himself retweeted it without comment, implying that he agreed with the statements made by Chikli.

The article has now amassed over 430 likes and has been retweeted over 200 times.

On Friday morning the official Likud twitter account accused Twitter and Facebook of "censoring the right," after Yair Netanyahu's social media accounts were suspended when he shared the full home address of MK Nir Orbach in an attempt to rally protestors outside of his house.

Likud claimed that this was a "textbook case of political censorship of the right," and called on Twitter and Facebook CEOS to "allow freedom of expression for all."

A global collapse of the right? From Washington to The Hague?

So that's no more Kamala Harris through Trump?
And no more Mark Rutte?

I mean, we can hope...

Will Macron and the CDU be swept away too, in this tidal wave of good riddance?

There is some truth here:

1) for years, Netanyahu has been Mr. Right Wing Israel in America. After his first demise, he mostly did fundraising in the USA - where Biden was already a senator.

2) Iran has a policy toward Israel that is actually a policy toward Netanyahu. So with Mr. Status Quo out of the way, you might see some actual progress/ shifting / new hope.

3. As Hezbollah is a subsidiary of Iran in all but name, same as above.

4. Europe is so done with Netanyahu, that Israel's best hope for some measure of sympathy is to have a government without Mr. "No-one May Criticise Me".

5. I'm not aware of any pending charges for war crimes / human rights abuses, but if any should apply to Big Bully Bloody Bad Bibi: YES PLEASE! Some accountability would go a long way toward restoring Israel's international reputation, which thanks to Netanyahu is in the dumps right now.
