Is Pineapple on Pizza good?

A common debate on the internet is whether or not Pineapple Pizza is good or The Devil's Pizza. For those unaware, somehow, pineapple on pizza is just Pizza with pineapples on it, simple as that. However, the bickering comes in on whether or not it's good or not. There has been a long back and forth between "It's awful" and "It's OK", but I don't think this very important argument has occurred on this website.

Personally, I think pineapple on pizza is disgusting. It has this sweet flavor that is just too nasty in my opinion, but that's just me. What say you NSG?

It doesn't matter if it's good or not. It is a crime against food, a crime against decency, and being seen eating it is highly uncouth on par with asking for a partly burnt steak.

I like nutella, and I like pizza. That doesn't mean I put the two together.

I'm not a fan of it for non-frozen pizzas, but I love Dr. Oetker's pizza hawaii.

Here's the real question for y'all: why are we focusing on pineapple when Europeans are putting some truly fucking horrendous toppings like bananas or peas on their pizzas?

It's perfectly acceptable and anyone should be allowed to eat it if they wish and have no medical, dietary, or religious reasons why. However, it's by no means my favourite topping.

Generally speaking, this debate seems unimportant; it's entirely subjective. But since we're debating on this issue, I'll go ahead.

Fruit does not belong on pizza. Sure, you can point out that the tomato sauce is made from a fruit, but I will point out that sweet tasting fruit does not go well with pizza.
