I am glad this forum is quite friendly towards stuffed toys.

In real life though, many a times when people see my toys they have a look that kind of reads:

“Dafuq?” Like raised eyebrows and disapproving frowns and stuff

Depends on the kind of toys you choose to display.

Displaying a bunch of teddy bears is a far different story comparing to displaying Ouija boards or the contents of the self-pleasure drawer.

I still have a couple of stuffed animals but the main one is a green dragon I called firebreath who I got as a child during a major surgery that significantly changed my life. And I ain’t giving him up you will have to pry him from my cold dead hands.

Incidentally, my wife has told me that many female residents in nursing homes (specifically memory care) love to pack around baby dolls and such. It's not quite stuffed animals but there you go. I guess even as their memory deteriorates many still have a deep desire to nurture and become quite upset if they misplace their "baby".

It's a bit weird if you still play with them or sleep with them but there's nothing wrong with just having them. I still have several from when I was a kid.

There's also the jealousy issues. Guns tend to be pretty loose about who can play with their trigger and lubricate their bore.

Guns aren't allowed in Army barracks ironically, so that can't happen regardless.

That said, it's normal for adults to keep some firearm in the bedroom.
