No one needs weapon in the USA the right to bear arms is waste of everyone's time. There many countries without the right to bear arms and to my knowledge no extremely bad things have happened. In the case of revolution whether you have right or not you will find the weapons. The establishment has better trained, better funded soldiers that do little else than prepare for war. Not to mention police, FBI, CIA, and NSA. I do not believe our country will descend to that level. The Right has always been militant and frankly dangerous.

Thankfully, it's called the "The Bill of Rights" and not "The Bill of Needs".. Also, I'm going to go on a limb here and say that you would be hard pressed to find a single country in the world right now where something "extremely bad" hasn't happened in it's history. Human beings are horrible, and will continue to be so regardless if firearms are in the mix or not. Lastly, the argument that you are putting forth that the "establishment" has soldiers therefore rebellion is impossible has been debunked so many times already in not only this thread but several other US Firearm/2A threads that It's just not worth it to post links anymore as clearly, the lot of you who think this refuse to listen.

I wouldn't say we're horrible, at least not naturally so. Naturally, at the very most, we're driven by survival like any other species: of course, that's driven us to be a cooperative, communal species.

Now, on the other hand, I would definitely say that environmental and nurturing factors drive us - or, at the very least, some of us - to wickedness. Ideas like homophobia, racism, classism, sexism, xenophobia, etc. wouldn't just naturally appear in a vacuum. These are ideas fostered over generations, brought about by the trillions of unique experiences we face. We're only horrible because of the conditions of life that we've altered to fit the greater whole of ourselves.
