And what exactly is so bad about pick up artists? I thought we were living in a libertine age of sexuality where women are free to sleep with whomever they choose to? If women fuck guys who could be described as "pick up artists", where's the problem? Have they weaponized their suaveness to the point that it interferes with women's ability to choose or something? It seems bizarre to think about those cats in the same context as "bullies" and rapists.

It's also hilarious how Ocelot included delusional conservatives along with rapists, but not delusional liberals. In Two and a Half Men, which remains a hilarious show in my book, despite its triggering properties, there's a great line, where a famed pick up artist confesses his lifestyle to a chick that he was trying to pick up earlier, and her response was "I'm just here to get laid in a beach house, what the fuck is wrong with you; it's a bar, not a confession booth!" When people go out to have fun, they know what they're getting into, and blaming it all on male pick up artists is sad, and yet hilarious at the same time. There's nothing wrong with being a pick up artist. Then again, this is the same video whose creators think that men go to barbecue to watch child wrestling.

I'm not frothing at the mouth at all, I noted pretty coherently that being told to improve yourself based on some fact about who you are is pretty irksome.

I haven't attacked anyone or made any outrageous claims, I never said the video would be harmful, I never said they should be punished for making it. That response just doesn't really apply and I think it's because you have a template for how you're supposed to respond when a man has a complaint about the way he's been treated.
