I hope plants don't actually know when they're being eaten. I can't eat them then.

It’s cycle of life and unfortunately compassion can only go so far. The best ethical decision is to limit the suffering of the animal when it comes to meat or just accept that plants are alive but with less feelings than animals. You have to consume living things. If I go out into the African wilderness and some hungry cheetah catches me and rips me apart I’m not gonna be mad at the cheetah for outrunning me, outfighting me, and then eating me. That’s just nature. It is gonna suck but then you stop feeling pain and suddenly it stops sucking.

Veganism is about ignoring that people have always been eating animal products and will probably continue doing that. We just don't want to be a part of harming animals. That would also include plants, if being eaten harms them too.

We use big words in this thread, the biggest words, even! You would not believe how big the words used in this place can be! Syllables all over the place!

Biggly big.

They have privacy settings you can adjust and based on what they have, you can also see what they’ve labeled as your interests, your age group, and other things.

I think last time I checked Google thought I was a male in my mid to late 20s and my locational data said I resided in California. The only correct part was the male bit. I have my computer swapping its internal identifiers around on a frequent basis so it’s harder to track that as well.

Ooh, how do you check that?

It’s a noble pursuit

Just increasingly difficult and hard to personally sustain depending on your definition of “harm”

I want to say by going into your account and then privacy settings, just try to get in your account information and click things from there. Should be privacy or content related. You can also turn it off I’m pretty sure.

Difficult, maybe, but if people are prepared to do it then it is good. It's healthy, too.

Should I be flattered or insulted that Google thinks I'm ~6-10 years older than I actually am? I'm in college, my dudes, not 35.

I think Google just thinks that you're mature... or you have old taste in music.

My personal ones are usually:

None because I don't order extra toppings for my pizza, it's perfect as is.

The only issue I have with supreme is that this is Hawaii and everything is expensive

Neither of the other two use as many toppings

Was playing Napoleon Total War as Prussia. Bonaparte himself showed up during one of the battles and promptly charged into my infantry and died immediately.

Flattered, but tack on a few extra zeros and then you get closer.

Wait, no, fuck, I've become a Generalite that LARPs being an immortal. Live long enough to see yourself become the villain, I guess.
