By March, all the songs for Eurovision are released and in May, some people who watch it won't know the songs but some Eurofans will already know the songs as they have listened to them now they are all released.

the electoral college comes in like the televote at the end

That would take a Constitutional Amendment.

Also, it's not nearly silly and destructive enough for a place as a seriously proposal in American politics.
