To be fair, a more honorable death than what he got.

What topping/sauce combinations do you guys recommend?

My personal ones are usually:
-Supreme
-BBQ chicken
-The Marilyn Monroe Fucked by JFK: Assassination Special

Supreme's are always great. And what the fuck is a Marilyn Monroe Fucked by JFK: Assassination Special?

I took a Marilyn Monroe, which is white sauce, all white cheeses, and then you’re supposed to use basil, but that’s not offered as a specific topping so I thought spinach would be good. I wanted some meat though so naturally, wanting meat in my Marilyn Monroe, I added chicken and the JFK part. However, with the spinach and meat and all the white cheese and sauce, it needed to be evened out, so I added diced tomatoes, hence the assassination special.

That sounds really good. Aside from spinach, I hate spinach, but maybe I'm just weird.

My Prussian army - 2,400 men - was facing a French army of 1,100 men. Napoleon randomly showed up and charged into the backside of one of my infantry units. To which I countered, surrounded him, and killed his entire general's guard unit.

I'm bankrupt but winning militarily. Austria-Hungary is rich but they're losing provinces every other turn almost, so it's a shit show all around honestly.

Ah, new thread.

The world may be all under heaven, but women hold up half the sky.

Happy Monday, folks! Both the CEO and the COO won't be coming into work today. We'll be productive as heck even without bosses.

It’s because the campaign battle AI thinks in formations instead of monitoring their actual units, and those formations tend to keep the general close by the troops. Problem is that cavalry naturally moves faster than anything else so sometimes the general leaves their other troops in the dust and then the AI probably notices nearby enemy troops and says fuck it charge.

Online battles are much more rewarding

Maybe he predicted the fate of the battle. The rest of the battle was a slow slog in which a total four units of mine - about 400 soldiers took out the French army one unit by one unit because they never counter attacked - so I essentially wiped out 1,000 men with 400 soldiers. At one point they started to reorganize and I thought that they were going to counter attack and I was going to lose 400 soldiers while my 2,000 other men watched from half the battlefield away and couldn't do anything about it but no.

What they did instead was move their artillery straight to where my four units were, promptly surrounding their artillery with my forces by themselves.

An interesting show of AI incompetence that I haven't seen in a battle in years of playing these kinds of games.

It was funny because I was tweeting about it and my tweets went in this order:

"Shit my entire army stumbled upon a French army, move away!"
"Wait shit that's Napoleon, what if I killed him - imagine the slap to French morale!"

>in the game, Napoleon flees but goes to Brussels where my second army is<

"Battle of Brussels, I'm told Napoleon is supposed to show up."
"Napoleon is dead!"

But during that, people were telling me to kill Napoleon and others were telling me I couldn't do it. One person said "Napoleon gonna make you his b****"

Total war games have been pretty *yawn* to me until TW: Warhammer 1/2 came out. Something about goblins fighting while riding on giant moving mouths and casting the “bad moon” (which is essentially a moon with a tongue) to kill HRE Germans who also have tanks that run on steam power just piqed my interest.

Medieval 2 was pretty awesome. Wouldn't mind a Medieval 3 if that Medieval 3 was made up of 33% everything that made Medieval 2 great, 33% things that weren't great in Medieval 2 but were now improved on, and 33% some great new shiny things that can be added to Medieval, like better politics and whatnot.

More factions, more internal intrigue (HRE and its countless princes, France and its lords, Poland and the endless infighting between dukes), more ability to affect religion (Protestantism, Jan Huss, the Anglican Church), and more realistic wars driven towards certain goals based on characters involved.

Right now I'm thinking CK2 but you can actually control the battles.

I bought over $1.5k in watches (of which there were 3) between November and December :p

I just do a good job of throwing money in savings, I’m hardly frugal. I don’t have a ton of money, but I guess since I also have no debt I’m better off than like half of the US.
