My guess is just treat it like regular correspondence.
The most important rule is never more than 3 messages in a row.

Conserative Morality wrote:"It's not time yet" is a tactic used by reactionaries in every era. "It's not time for democracy, it's not time for capitalism, it's not time for emancipation." Of course it's not time. It's never time, not on its own. You make it time. If you're under fire in the no-man's land of WW1, you start digging a foxhole even if the ideal time would be when you *aren't* being bombarded, because once you wait for it to be 'time', other situations will need your attention, assuming you survive that long. If the fields aren't furrowed, plow them. If the iron is not hot, make it so. If society is not ready, change it.

An Alan Smithee Nation wrote:I bought a piece of Indian film music from Amazon, Jaadu Hai Nasha Hai, and when I downloaded it the file name said it was from 'Jism'. Turns out that it is from a Bollywood remake of Body Heat, and 'Jism' is the Hindi name of the film, in English it would be 'Body'. I'm guessing it isn't getting translated into English because it is way funnier calling it Jism.

I'd there's radio silence, there's radio silence. It's not ghosting until day 3.
True enough. No worries about radio silence, I felt like we clicked right away. I asked her out actually, but unfortunately it turns out she's married. If I'm drunk posting later today that'll be why.

Just because she is married doesnt mean she is enthusiastic about it

Well, firstly, her reply - while gentle - definitely gave me the impression that she was serious about her marriage, and secondly, even if that wasn't the case cheating and dating on the side are wrong and I wouldn't want to be a part of that. She expressed a desire to be friends so I'll see about that, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't dissapointed.

Same. I am of the philosophy of fuck who ever you wanna fuck as long as it is legal with all parties consenting and no harm is being done to anyone.

Consent is a complex thing and I suspect that if this sort of thing was more widely socially accepted a lot of emotional abusers would use it and the language of identity and social justice to pressurise their non-polyamorous partners into allowing them to cheat.

That's also a fair point. A lot of people just plain suck.
