I once almost got a job writing horoscopes for some local paper, I didn't get the job because inspite of being told that I was better then the other person gunning for the job, I was apparently "Clearly taking the piss". Which to be fair, was completely true.

Decidedly curious. None of us were quite sure what to make of the first wine we got when hunting in what's now Georgia. It tasted awful but the villagers said, "Just have another drink, you'll see."

Not every medication clashes with grapefruit juice. Just certain ones.

You don't have to worry just yet.

I know meds like Zocor and Lipitor can clash with grapefruit. They’re part of the ‘statins’ groups: lovastatin and simvastatin, although it doesn’t clash with all meds from this group.

Indeed.

For proper medical advice when to drink grapefuit juice in combination with medicin, talk to your doctor and read the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medication_package_insert

This is, of course, always the best advice.

I generally work to the assumption it goes without saying. I should stop doing that.

You should.

Keep in mind, not all NSers are adults. And some things are definitely worth repeating to the younger folks out there :)

My Ritalin days are far behind me now, and I am certain that I still got a few decades up my sleeve before my inevitable decline begins to require medication to keep under control.
