While there's no direct canon answer for this, it's generally accepted that Atlaneans live longer than humans. Number range from anywhere from 200 - 500 from what I've found.

I think IM means that the character is goofy because he was created in the 40s, as opposed to some gritty 90s Leifield character.

The title Genghis Khan means "Oceanic Ruler", so the Atlanteans using a similar title for their High King doesn't seem so weird really
