Umm Tito’s Yugoslavia was a dictatorship that a great number of people fled.

I'm pretty sure they were mostly Chetniks and Stalinists (people who I have little sympathy for)

My family survived two types of foreign occupation, a world war, and decades of authoritarian rule by ignoring politics and staying home during protests, election days, and curfew hours. I would do the same. Compared to what they went through, a coup d'etat or a migrant influx doesn't bother me. Taxes take priority over unrest/regime change; if I received a tax bill over 90% of my income I'd be tempted to run (but probably still wouldn't, considering the relatives, friends, and connections I'd have to abandon).

The only way I can say for sure I'd leave is if the government started persecuting people for their religion. I can tolerate anything dictator does until he decides that a man's most private beliefs - his faith - is illegal. Then it's time to go somewhere else.

On another note, you saying Cuba and Vietnam are as bad as Stalin, Mao, and the Kims is in my opinion extremely insulting to the victims of those regimes. I won't speak for Cuba but Vietnam is a nation actually to care for it's people after centuries of invasions and a decade long blockade while the later three are state-capitalist tyrannies (just flat out capitalist in China's case) that blatantly lie about being in any way socialist and behave no better than the West, and Trump LOVES that. He loves China and North Korea not despite being "Communist", but because they've completely abandoned all pretense but the name for the pursuit of power and greed.

We worked 40 hours in 4 days, and over time on our days off if asked to come in and we accepted, no pressures, that is why we had an hour long break.

There is absolutely no chance of Trump banning emigration. At all. Nor becoming a dictator at all.

Vietnam is also a state capitalist with combined with free market and political tyranny as well. It is not much different than China, at all.

And maybe you disagree with Stalinists and Chetniks, I do to. But I do not think everyone accused of being one should be all thrown into gulags without due process. But Tito did.
People we disagree with still get rights in a democracy.

Besides they were not the only ones. Many others who opposed his regime also were forced to flee, not just the far left and far right. He certainly did not respect political freedoms.

And economically it still lagged behind the west by a large margin and his economic policies were completely unsustainable causing an economic crash shortly after his death.

He was just lucky like Chavez that he died before the chickens came home to roost so his apologists can claim he was not at fault for the impact of his policies.
