What's your take? Mine is that this is about normalizing pederastry by saying it's about the children having rights. A very different angle from the old approach.

But. This movement was grounded in adult rights. Desmond represents the beginning of a movement to argue pederastry is something for the sake of kids, which I think will be more successful.

Well, I read the article, and it at least answered the question of why a minor was allowed in a bar.

Doesn't seem that bad, to me...Their "damning" line is that he was brought into an establishment where "men desire other men."

Most of the article is a digression about Woody Allen.

It's a bit distasteful, but nothing to lose sleep over. The fact that he was given dollar bills is probably the most distasteful bit.

I still say that child beauty contests are WAY worse than this. Children are brought onto a stage where "men desire women", and paraded about in much more revealing attire than this Desmond kid is depicted wearing.
