Except that it wouldn't be things you don't want to purchase. Access to social media is separate from basic service in those countries as is e-mail regardless of site. Have a gaming console or want to use Steam, for instance? That's another $10 a month. Streaming services? Pay extra on top of what you're already paying places like Netflix.
But I don't want most of those things, and under your system I have to buy them anyhow.
