Say you are a poorer kid. Your parents have enough for a basic internet package, which you use to do schoolwork. Well, you can rightfully get fucked! Your internet will be slow as fuck at all times, instead of peak times.

Except that it wouldn't be things you don't want to purchase. Access to social media is separate from basic service in those countries as is e-mail regardless of site. Have a gaming console or want to use Steam, for instance? That's another $10 a month. Streaming services? Pay extra on top of what you're already paying places like Netflix.
