Last I checked he was somewhere up like 40(!)% nationally, that's bona fide front runner status, whereas before it was possible that someone could easily breakthrough, now it looks terribly unlikely.

Despite some of his flaws, he has an uncanny ability to be immensely likable/calming, especially in a town hall/interview format. He's a walking NPR podcast, and I'm not saying that as an insult.
