As if I need to tell the American people not to vote. They do a fine job of it as is.

It'll be such a massive landslide that we won't even need to cast a vote, he'll just be declared the winner, and he might even get a 3rd term!
Now, while I disagree that he's going to win in a landslide (More likely it'll be akin to Bush/Gore 2000), I'm not looking forward to the next 6 years with him.

Middle of the road. I think Illinois should be split, but the split shouldn't be Chicagoland/rest of the state. I think it should be Northern Illinois/Southern Illinois.
Southern Illinois keeps the name Illinois because is where the actual Illinois Indians lived and Northern Illinois can be renamed Wabash, or something.

Would you rather live in a Chicagoless Illinois or an independent state of Chicagoland?

Also, Bernie did a town hall on Fox News and pretty much dominated there.

If Bernie gets the nomination, which seems increasingly likely to me, he'll defeat Trump easily.

No he won't.
Especially if he keeps flying the socialist banner about (And even if he does win, Dems are going to lose the House again because of it).

Too often, gum policy is broken down as " they say 'common sense' but don't believe them, they're just tyrants who want to take away your guns so you can't resist[with a puny assault weapon]their fascist commie takeover." From the conservatives , and " oh my god everyone is gonna die!" From the liberals. Further, people say things like "there is now definition of assault weapon" on top of that, conservatives don't seem to understand that the gender wage gap, and that it is unequal pay for equal work, not the average among all women.
Also, people need to stop thinking a. That socialism destroys countries and b. That Bernie and AOC advocate socialism.
Finally, the green new deal is nothing new, it's just taking a bunch of widely accepted policies and packaging them together.
