Again if asylum laws are made easier and those persons who don't qualify for any kind of asylum now qualify for asylum, that is favoring illegal immigration and calling it legal immigration, a nice excuse, that is what the Democrats want, if not they should not have opposed President Trump's attempt to make the asylum laws harder.

Most Honduran Caravan asylum seekers don't qualify for any kind of asylum, and yet we let them in and put them through the process, and have to hold them in detention centers, than it is harder to deport them when their asylum claim is denied, this has to change, this has to end, and President Trump has tried to do so, and Italy's Salvini has done or tried to so something similar, this happens in many parts of the world.

The Fence in Hungary stops illegal immigration through the fence in Hungary, their are other similar barriers in many nations. If I were to accept a temporary visa of any kind of any nation, I know I have to return when the visa expires, if I overstay my visa I become an illegal person subject to deportation, I have intentionally broken the visa law, I should not have the right to a visa hearing because I intentionally overstayed my visa and became an illegal person and I broke the visa law, I should be detained, arrested and held for deportation.

My family and I applied for legal immigration to the USA, met the requirements and waited our turn in that hell hole eternal dictatorship revolution nation of Cuba for many years, we had to take and pass a medical exam and pay for it, actually my legal immigrant family in the US paid for the medical exams, requested our immigration visas and sponsored us for one year at their own expense, then I did the same for other family members in Cuba, who applied, met the requirements and waited their turn in that hell hole nation of Cuba for many years.

If they just want to escape violence they can apply as refugees, without being physically in the country.

You can thank some weird quirks of the us system for this. We don't have stop gap measures in place to automatically solve the issue like other governments do. Most countries automatically adopt the previous budget if a new one is locked. Others automatically trigger reelections under the premise of a failure of government. Still others desperately avoid it at all costs as they don't have the strength of the US economy to buoy them.

The US, for better or worse, has none this.

I don't trust the Democrats in congress, I wonder if they have any dirty legislative tricks up their sleeves under Pelosi's leadership during these three weeks of talk, talk, talk and do nothing, if they even bother to talk or just pretend to talk while agreeing to nothing.
