Whatever happened to the will of the voters and all that nonsense? Or does that only count when you like the will of the voters?

Reminder that Trump becoming President wasn't the will of the voters, he lost by ~3 million.

No it’s not. You take an oath to the constitution not blind loyalty to your base

They'd just replace him with Spencer or Milo or some other nut. The problem is republican voters, not Trump. They're his enablers. Impeaching Trump would just make them more angry. The only solution is to outvote them over the next few years and make the political system more representative so their minority support can only get them minority status.

They'd go full KKK. Best to just make them politically irrelevant.

What does that mean? They are a minority anyway.

I highly doubt they'll come to some deal. One side will win when the other side caves.

They elected Trump out of anger. Impeaching Trump will likely let an actual neo nazi or alt-right freak take over the entire party just as Trump did, such will be their breakdown.

I doubt a neo Nazi would take the helm

I doubt that

I doubted Trump would be elected. The rest of us can't expect any level of rationality considering what we're dealing with.

I don’t think a literal Nazi would win a election but who knows? Steve king got re-elected

Yes. Without a doubt.

The status quo isn’t going to ever change unless we force it to change

At this point an oath to uphold the constitution has about as much meaning as an oath to "do the right thing" it's so utterly subjective as to be pointless.

I mean... Why would they do this? What do Republican Senators get by overriding their own President to pass a bill?
