The truth is, most Americans aren't going to shoot each other because they believe in an ideology. On the other hand, there's also the US Armed Forces to enforce the constitution and also the fact that most Americans probably don't see ideology as a enough motivational factor. The USA is a developed country, isn't in an economic crisis, isn't losing a war, doesn't have a large portion of it's population under the poverty line and simply doesn't really follow most of the requirements for a civil war. Political disagreements aren't enough for that.

Not to downplay the seriousness of Charlottesville, but there's a lot of space between Nazis murdering someone at a rally, or a bunch of wingnuts seizing control of a federal building and ending up getting shot and/or arrested by the FBI, and an actual rebel army opening fire on a U.S. Army base with artillery. We haven't even hit National Guard opening fire on peaceful protesters levels of domestic unrest.
