What disturbs me on this thread is the alarming amount of people asking or discussing why the US military doesn't just do a coup d' etat and overthrow Trump and replace him. It's because that's unconstitutional and a grave attack on the separation of powers and freedom in the USA. Imagine what sort of precedent that would make. The military should be separated from internal politics, period.

The only way to constitutionally remove Trump is either to impeach him or to activate the 25th amendment and that's the only way that it should be done. "Whataboutism" in regards to Trump's defamation of the Special Counsel, FBI and his undermining of justice in general isn't a excuse to orchestrate a conspiracy to overthrow the President of the United States illegally.

Because when I learned about this a week ago, I felt so sad for anyone going through that.

A mass quitting while disaster for the govnerment would also mean he could replace predominately Democratic leaning elements of the bureaucracy with predominately Republican ones would vastly hamstring future administrations ability to move policies left wards.
