On the basis of Obstruction of Justice; there's no evidence for the Collusion part. However, like I have mentioned in a previous post, the report is going to be politically damage since it does reveal he did order attempts to either influence or try to end the investigation. Of course, none of his subordinates went through with it, but it shows the kind of character he is.

Indeed but now there's evidence to back it up more so. Not that it won't matter to Trump Supporters, but it could be used to draw some disgruntle independents/moderate Republicans over in 2020.

By 2020 Trump will have done countless new controversial things and we'll all struggle to remember that the Mueller report ever happened.

It's only like 3:30 EDT. He has enough 'executive time' to do something batshit before the end of the day.

Excuse me if I'm wrong, but it seems like we went into this report thinking Trump might have done some bad things, and now after a two year long investigation, the result is... Trump might have done some bad things.

First he'll humiliate himself by being forcefully removed from White House grounds. Then he'll spend some time as a social media presence/conservative mega donor/activist before he tries to launch his own media conglomerate which will also fail before 2024.

Trump will be doing controversial things until he dies, at which point we will probably learn about loads of controversial things that he'd been doing that were kept quiet.

The Mueller Report is a long read, this is going to take me a couple weeks to read... but quite interesting: it basically shows Russia tried to cozy up with Trump after he was elected to established friendlier relations as well as show that the FISA Warrants and FBI's investigation is totally legit. It's going to be pretty hard to try to de-legitimize "the other side" that Republicans claim started the Witch Hunt. Time to dig in.

The Mueller seems to lay out the possibility of serious crimes but nothing will come of it because Republicans wont vote to impeach. We've now established the President is above the law. I wish Republicans in Congress and Mitch McConnell would grow and pair and stab their base in the back hard and remove Trump from power and resign themselves to losing massively next year.

The only reason justice took its due course was that people did not follow Trump's orders. This was outside of Trump's control, meaning that his behavior was enough to lead to obstruction. Even then, his public comments should have been enough to merit charges on the basis of obstruction.

At the very least, Trump is morally at fault. Trump supporters must accept that Trump intended and took action to break the law. His actions are comparable to an arsonist whose fire is put out before it can cause damage. He did undoubdetly attempted to commit obstruction of justice.
