All they have to do is get it to a veto proof majority, making it something that has to appeal to more democrats so trump ironically has a fit in order to get democrats more of what they want...

Republicans control the senate and come January democrats the house. This shutdown is all over a stupid wall that will never get a majority of votes in the Senate and won’t get a vote in the house come January

So let trump keep throwing his tantrum and maybe Atc will strike after two or three months with no pay grounding all flights and putting hundreds of thousands out of work over his stupid wall. Or letting parks not be maintained over a ineffective and uneeded border wall

If it included the wall they wouldn't need a veto proof majority, would they? Right? See how that statement is like the opposite of what I was talking about? That it was obvious that you need a veto proof majority to pass a bill without a wall because then it doesn't matter what Trump does?
