Just speculating, wildly, based on...did Maxine Waters even say that?

Surrendering 2020 early it seems.

You seem to be doing a lot of extrapolation from that sentence.

I love the smell of desperation in the morning

Lot more desperate than impeaching a President over lying about an affair after a special counsel investigation into a real estate deal turned up nothing as well as multiple hearings on a consulate attack that turned up nothing also I take it?

So, uh, just a reminder that Trump's a shitty president and no amount of investigations will help his re-election chances.

It is. Spent two years on this, staking a considerable part of the platform on it, and now that it didn’t go their favor, Democrats are desperate to spin this anyway they can. There’s no evidence that Barr is lying, and considering the report will inevitably go public, it’d be quite ill advised for him to lie.
Occupy Democrats is desperately trying to spin this as “fixed,” and I’m seeing that narrative parroted on far left social media, but the reality it the investigation flopped.

Apart from all the people sent to prison for their crimes, of course.

Only the Trump administration/campaign could be investigated, have that investigation result in multiple felony convictions and then have said investigation unironically dismissed as a flop.
Considering
A. They went to prison for crimes not related to the election.
B. The left would likely be willing to trade all those convictions for something on Trump.
C. Trump gets to solidify his base and act like he’s completely exonerated.
Yeah it’s a political flop.

Wait, did the Bengazi hearings lead to Republicans surrendering 2016?

Not surprising Trump would nominate someone to a position they’re entirely unqualified for.
