Apparently the news website separate from all the other articles that Buzzfeed makes. So yeah i'd guess it is.

I’m going to wait for someone reputable to report on it, still. I highly doubt Buzzfeed’s editors didn’t get hit by the rampant bias running around.

They've actually been decent on a few occasions.

Well if something like a Polk award winner or a Pulitzer Finalist is what counts as reputable then that already happened.

But here

The special counsel’s office learned about Trump’s directive for Cohen to lie to Congress through interviews with multiple witnesses from the Trump Organization and internal company emails, text messages, and a cache of other documents. Cohen then acknowledged those instructions during his interviews with that office.

This revelation is not the first evidence to suggest the president may have attempted to obstruct the FBI and special counsel investigations into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election.

But Cohen's testimony marks a significant new frontier: It is the first known example of Trump explicitly telling a subordinate to lie directly about his own dealings with Russia.

Oh shit. If this is true, and they can prove it, this is a big deal. This could be solid grounds for a case on obstruction of justice.

Dude, you buried the lead...it's dropping in his base.
Down significantly among suburban men, a net-positive approval rating of 51-to-39 percent to a net-negative of 42 percent approve, 48 percent disapprove. That's a net change of down 18 percentage points.
Down a net of 13 points among white evangelicals, from 73-to-17 percent approve to 66-to-23 percent approve.
Down a net of 10 points among Republicans, from 90-to-7 percent approve to 83-to-10 percent.
Down marginally among white men without a college degree, from 56-to-34 percent approve to 50-to-35 percent approve, a net change downward of 7 points.

Also
The president also faces some significant headwinds for re-election in 2020. Just 30 percent of registered voters said they will definitely vote for Trump in 2020, while 57 percent said they will definitely vote against him.

Just 76 percent of Trump supporters, 69 percent of Republicans and 58 percent of white evangelicals say they will definitely vote for him. Many, if not most, of them will likely vote for the president, but their softness in supporting him for re-election is a sign of vulnerability.

For context, in 2010, when asked about then-President Barack Obama, just 36 percent said they would definitely vote for him, while 48 percent said they would not. Obama went on to win with 51 percent of the vote.

But for Trump to have more than half the country already saying it definitely won't vote for him indicates he is facing a difficult re-election.

No, no, that wasn't Trump. That was his publicist, John Barron.

While I do question the integrity and bias of Buzzfeed, this has been reported by other sources. It should be made clear though that we shouldn't jump to conclusions until Mueller and Congress wraps this up, although it's not looking good for some members of Trump's Campaign, and that includes Trump. But I'll wait until I hear more as well.

Realistically, he'll never be impeached. As I understand it, impeachment would require a Dem house (which could definitely happen) and every Dem senator (possible) and at least 19 republican senators (which is never going to happen). Trump could show up to the state of the union drunk, slap every member of congress in the face, stumble out of the building and attack toddlers on the streets of DC by throwing empty cans at their faces and, at most, you'd get about 6 republican senators willing to convict him. I genuinely believe the rest (and Fox news) would argue he deserves sympathy because Pelosi drove him to drink.

There's been no evidence that enough republican politicians are willing to hold him account for anything for impeachment to be a possibility. They simply lack a strong enough conscience.

While his base is unwavering in support for the Wall, and a majority of Republicans as well, there is a not insignificant numbers who are not married to the idea. I would say they are the 15 or so percent who say they are disatisfied with the President, amd perhaps another 10 percent who are generally happy with certain policies but aren't married to certain specifics, like the wall.

I do agree. However, I think if there's impeachable (and damning offences) and the GOP does nothing, then I can guarantee they'll lose the Senate, especially for Republicans that didn't go through with it. Even then, the people would simply vote him out and the next President would likely prosecute him.

Attempting to use the mere allusion of Mexican Muslims as a tactic to stow fear isn't racist because... uh... Islam and Mexican aren't races?

With us, he's up to his neck in scandals. With Republicans...a lot of them just don't give a damn about any crimes he may have committed so long as he's hurting people who need to be hurt.
