At this point, Trump is like the Oprah of tariffs.

Now, Mexico has been slacking off at apprehensions at their own border since, well, the new government has come into power and I do think that does need to be addressed (I think the last stat I saw was in December of 2018 where Mexico apprehended 6000 people at their border?). But I don't think tariffs are going to work so well, especially since we get a decent amount of food. I can only see this hurting consumers on all fronts, especially if they go up to 25% and we get a decent amount of car parts from their too. I don't see Mexico backing down. Or worse, walking away from the trade deal they made with America and Canada.

I’m generally pro-tariffs. Yet this is not how you use them. We should be supporting Mexico not killing them. Canada is already in the pocket of the Chinese we don’t need Mexico there as well

and it will end with a collapse of the US economy if he keeps this up. A trade war with China isn't winnable no matter how much you think it is.

One of the gazillion reasons why Trump should be impeached, or have we reached the infinite?

One need only use said power inappropriate to the customs and dignity of the office he holds (but not necessarily illegal) for Congress to launch impeachment proceedings -- see the Lewinsky brouhaha.
