Pathetic lack of empathy in that statement. I worked in a rail company with an owner that treated its people like dirt. Physical punishments, unpaid labor, and all around humiliation and being generally underpaid were just some of the problems. And guess what? They couldnt quit. They had families that relied on them and mouths to feed. Many were illegal immigrants unable to find another job. To suggest they just quit is beyond naive and, as said before, unempathetic to their situations.

...I don't think you actually understand how mistreated workers get the leverage to actually obtain better treatment. There aren't many options.

That's also a strike, though, a sit-down strike. Which is illegal thanks to Taft-Hartley, the same law that you're championing at the moment for forbidding workers from industrial action if it endangers public safety or health.

But you are tsk tsking at one of the only proven methods for workers to obtain positive, material changes to their working conditions... by insinuating that doing so would open the door to Nazi esque equivalencies.

Temporary economic losses in some sectors are not equivalent with full scale economic collapse. You need to have some nuance on this if you want to predict which would be more likely to occur in any given hypothetical.
