However, this is the only attack we know of where a virus caused significant physical damage. Besides stuxnet, is there another example of hack-induced physical damage?

Several, actually.

Once again Donnie shows what a great friend of the LGBTQ community he really is. Getting to "FUCKOBAMA" by erasing one of his policies is a cherry on top for Donnie.

The Trump administration has invoked an emergency provision of the law governing arms sales to immediately sell Saudi Arabia and other Gulf allies weapons without congressional approval, senators said Friday.

The approval comes amid heightened tensions with Iran over what the administration has described as increased threats to U.S. interests in the region, and the senators indicated that Iran was used as justification for the emergency sale.

The administration on Friday also announced the deployment of 1,500 U.S. troops to the Middle East to protect U.S. forces already there from Iran.

State Department spokespeople did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the arms sale.

From the Twitter grapevine: looks like Stephen Miller has killed another one.

The head of USCIS — L. Francis Cissna — is out at DHS, @Geneva_Sands reports. “At the request of the President, I submitted my resignation today, effective June 1, 2019," he wrote in an email. Stephen Miller pushed for his departure for weeks.

President Trump is expected to tap Ken Cuccinelli to replace Cissna. But it hasn’t been formally announced yet.

Just what diabolical thing is Stephen Miller planning?

That's such a mean thing to say about Walruses.

With this I realize how fucked up the bar lowering apparatus is for Trump. Because as more and more people rotate out you can't help but want to remark, "The best people, right?" But his people are so bad and they rotate out so often that I sound like a broken record. In essence, he does shitty things so often that talking about the shitty things he does becomes trite instead of the shitty things he does. Like, I'm pretty tired of the IMax joke but if he's going to make that joke apt fucking daily should my frustration be at the person who uses the joke or the person who keeps walking into it?

Im really worried Trump is going to try weaponize intelligence and put national security at risk for the sake of damaging political opponents and possibly blow covers and get people killed. And Republicans will probubly look the other way because they know they can't piss of his base even if it means damaging national security.

'Trump weaponizing intelligence' are three words that are far funnier than they have any right to be. That being said, his constant attacking of our intelligence community while giving the Russians and Chinese the edge cannot bode well for our morale or our place within the community. And so far Republicans have done a damn fine job ignoring Trump's bullshit, so I'd say not so much 'will probably,' but most likely will give him a pass despite hurting the country.

They were already cool with it when Cheney did it, so yeah. They totally would.

There's so many problems with what's being peddled here I don't know how to begin. Wait, actually...

First, the low-hanging fruit: presentation. No attempt was made. From the headline to the article itself, it reeks of "written in five minutes in a Starbucks so the writer could go back to livetweeting their mocha latte".
Second, the choice of "source": an otherwise-unattested photograph by someone working for... Washington fucking Post. Then parroted by a coworker. Color me skeptical.
Third, the assumption that it's his writing. Comparing it with confirmed examples of what's his handwriting, only the intensity of the marks matches. Otherwise it looks vaguely similar, but not a very close match IMO. Probably an aide using his pens. Perhaps a marker pen, or some other type of broad pen? He's rich, he probably has multiple drawers full of them. Personally I prefer pencils, but pens of all shapes and sizes are preferred by various people for various reasons. I had a teacher once who used pencils thicker than a Sharpie due to arthritis, and since he's old as balls, that's to be expected. (Arthritis could actually explain and justify this entire thing, in hindsight, but I wrote too much to can it now)

Is an image of the same paper bundle attested anywhere else online, from any other photographer? And could you at least find an article written by someone who knows how to write articles next time?

Tldr it's either arthritis, an aide who can't spell, or fake news, 98% certain it's one of these three

and tbf speeling can be hadr butt i pased al my graed skool speeling exems su

Trump's been known to spell wrongly on occasion. Him flubbing a word like "accomplishment" is hardly beyond him. But I don't feel like attacking the man for his grammatical errors -- as Proc said, it's low-hanging fruit in Trump's sequioa of wannabe tyranny.

I prefer leaders who sound coherent. I consider my governor whom I'm not the biggest fan of to be more of a leader then he will ever be. To this day i refuse to call him President Trump. He is merely Trump to me.
