Oh, we are already on our fifteen's thread. This is a long haul, but then again Trump was elected on 2016 so I guess it was fair. Right?

Sane Outcasts wrote:Trump Administration is Trying to Transfer American Nuclear Technology to Saudi Arabia

The Trump administration sought to rush the transfer of American nuclear technology to Saudi Arabia in potential violation of the law, a new report from the House Oversight and Reform Committee alleges.

Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings' staff issued an "interim staff" report Tuesday, citing "multiple whistleblowers" who raised ethical and legal concerns about the process.

"They have warned about political appointees ignoring directives from top ethics advisers at the White House who repeatedly and unsuccessfully ordered senior Trump administration officials to halt their efforts," the report states. "They have also warned of conflicts of interest among top White House advisers that could implicate federal criminal statutes."

Link to the report for the curious

This will enrage the Middle East nations, enough for them to actually start acquiring nuclear techs/weapons as well. For safety reasons.

No matter current stockpiles, what we have would still kill hundreds of millions, likely billions and leave large swaths of the planet irradiated and uninhabitable for decades/centuries to come and cause a global chain reaction of shitty environmental and climate consequences of catastrophic proportions. You seem to neglect to take into account any part of the aftermath of thousands of highly radioactive super explosions going off in a short period of time across large parts of the planet.

Again, no. Doctrine and basic knowledge of radioactive half life means very few areas will be irradiated and general radiation levels will rapidly be back to background levels within about two to six weeks at worst. Billions of death definitely won't happen either, at least not due to the conflict directly.

And in a stunningly predictable display of skewed priorities, Trump is considering ranting about how Jussie Smollett has been personally racist against him to be more important than anything to do with that Coast Guard officer who was found with a massive cache of weaponry and plans to go out killing Democrat politicians in the name of creating a "white homeland".

It says a lot about him that he has nothing to say about that monster in the Coast Guard. It would not surprise me at all if there are others out there like him and the authorities might not be so lucky in catching them before they do a horrible act.

The CEO should, yes, be selected by the workers in an ideal world. Barring that, election by shareholders is preferable than just being handed that power because your dad happened to also own the company. But regardless of how power was gained, for a good society and healthy economy, no leader should be dictatorial as modern CEOs are.

In the world of politics, Trump should listen to advisers and experts more, and stop acting as if he has all the answers because he doesn't and that attitude is clearly negatively effected his administration. My argument is that Trump is the typical case for most CEOs in the United States in terms of personality and how they choose to wield power, so we shouldn't be surprised that when he runs the nation like a CEO he runs it like a silly dictator.

Clearly a dude staging violence against himself to renegotiate his pay by capitalizing on racial tensions is clearly the bigger threat than the guy planning on acting on racial tensions...to the guy who is also exploiting racial tensions for personal gain. Someone might notice.

Hmm, there is that stereotype that CEOs tend to be the de facto leader, a King per se, that has the final say; the argument can be made there. But most CEOs at least take some time to listen to others before implementing decisions: it's why they have CFOs, managers, and others to relay said information to make form decisions. Or will they chew your heads off if you dare question them, at least for the most part.

In Trump's case, he takes it to the extreme. He was handed the position from his father and combined with his narcissistic and mob-like views, develops into a more dictator like figure. I do find that if anyone ran for President and had a CEO background, I wouldn't be opposed as long as they had a good track record of running a business and their views aren't atrocious. But having government experience does help, and Trump's ineptness clearly shows.

Massive news story... In what universe.

One is a guy who did a stupid stunt in order to scam his boss. The other is the stockpiling of arms to perform some kind of sick cleansing. As president, the second one deserves immediate condemnation, while the other should not even appear on your radar. Trump is just using it as a dog whistle.

Of course, I didn't know you were such a fan of letting the mainstream media set the national agenda.
