Okay, a lot of this thread is basically spam. I'm also not quite sure if we need an entire thread devoted to Ben Shapiro. For now, the thread stays unlocked, but quit with all of the spamming and actually get on substantial discussion.

The only thing Ben Shirpo does is talk really fast and be quick witted. He's a smart man and a gifted speaker but when it comes to politics and philosophy he's dumber then a meth addicted redneck who lived his entire life in some shack in the middle of the woods. His fans are by far way worst then him though, practically worshipping the man and challenging anyone who criticizes him to "Debate him". I'm sure Ben is a real cool guy, but he's a hack and a true regressive.

It's interesting that you go to personal attacks instead of addressing his actual views. Is it more reasonable to believe "Hurr durr, he's dumb and that's why he believes what he does" or "he's an individual who has arrived at different reasoned conclusions than I have"?

He's an Orthodox Jew. I expect he believes the U.S. was founded on Judeo-Christian values. Which it actually was. That said, he seems to believe in the value of political secularism.

Eeeeeeh, definitely lots of Christian influence, but "Judeo-Christian" implies a sort of cultural continuity between Judaism and the Christianity of modern times which isn't really there.

I think you need more than one example to convince people of that. I wasn't convinced of that, until you showed me the article, which has more examples to state that, namely that Arabs are naturally a violent people who wish death upon people, and he had endorsed the idea of moving all Arabs out of their homes into another state akin to Churchill (which I'm surprised he didn't know was a bad example, but then again, many forget the bad parts of Churchill because he was a hero to the Allied cause and made quite the famous speech, so I guess he didn't expect many to call him out on that.)
