I expect it isn't terribly uncommon for a woman to label a man a "faggot" for spurning her advances. People are often quite shitty when they get shot down.

I was often labelled as "gay" (I am bisexual, but certainly not homosexual) for merely being introverted and either not being particularly dominant when conversing with women, or not really conversing with women at all when I did not see a valid reason to talk to 'em.

Women have this bizarre tendency of labelling any men who isn't some overly dominant initiator "gay".

That's because most women a fed this idea early on that men always and only want sex and nothing else, or if they do want something else then it must be miniscule by comparison.

So if you're not acting overly dominant in attempts to get their attention for sexy times or you deny sex, then you must obviously be gay.

I can't really speak for women where you're from. I do know that there are many women who are attracted to proactive, confident men, at least at first glance, and these are traits that are prevalent, or at least appear prevalent at first, in aggressively dominant machos.

That's been changing a lot around my area lately, or at least I think it has, but it's definitely still tough for socially awkward men.

After Contrapoints' video on incels, I saw a lot of women comment on the particular issue of how the straight women who prefer more delicate, less conventionally masculine and even submissive men don't really get a lot of visibility. So some of the men who come to think of themselves as incels because they don't fit the Chad archetype actually are missing out on women who would absolutely be attracted to them. The problem isn't that they are actually impossible to love, but that they are looking in the wrong places and the "dating market" isn't helping.

I think there's a difference between not showing interest and actually breaking up.. and let's face it both genders don't always take a break up very well.
