If I’m going to be speaking French I better do it right.

France is pretty based. I wish I'd kept learning French.

Vive la France

Tout le monde aime La France, quand c'est facile.

C'est toujours facile d'aimer la France; mais comme dit le dicton (ou en fait, Michel Audiard), "Les cons, ça ose tout. C'est même à ça qu'on les reconnaît."

So when people have a small convo in French it's ok, but watch me say some Arabic words and people get mad. :eyebrow:

You can post a comment in Arabic, and one can exchange messages in French. The other poster calling you out on that was in the wrong; me calling you out on it being in bad taste, however.

What did I say in Arabic that was in bad taste? Besides, that's an opinion.

I won't trade my Deen for anything.

In a thread where Islamic terrorists have killed people, with that emoji, is in bad taste.

And yes, everything on this forum is an opinion.

French is the language of love.
Arabic is the language associated with terrorist attacks.

Guess which one is inappropriate in a diversity attack thread.

Due to the presumably anti-Islam messages in this thread. But does that have any effect on the post itself and its good or bad taste? No.

No.

I also don't remember if I said this or not, but the Parliament is no longer under lockdown and the capability of this terrorist to evade the police so many times (two shootouts), and for so long is bringing up completely unsubstantiated rumors of accomplices.
In no way official so far, but the experience in Molenbeek does give examples.

Tbh, nobody excuses the Westboro Baptists. Even the KKK lists them as a hate group (I'm actually serious, that's true).
