Yeah you really don´t. Christmas is not all religious. I don´t deny it´s religious aspects but your suggestion only Christians can celebrate it is dumb as hell. Non-Christians can celebrate so many things associated with Christmas so to suggest you have to be Christian to celebrate Christmas is ridiculous. Christmas is not a purely religious holiday.

Sooo Christ would not want to us to give to our family´s to show our love to each other? He would not want us to give to those in need? He would not want us to spend time with each other and be kind? It is a holiday with undeniable Christian roots, like Easter and Halloween. So for many Christians there is an expectation that that tradition is important. I understand however that for non-believers its a time of merry-making and family time and that is fine too. So long as no one tries to actually remove the Christ from Christmas; which happens less than some like to think but does happen and is very sad.
