There is no reason to hate women in general, in my view. But it can't be denied that women tend to hold quite a power over men for various reasons. It is perhaps the natural order of things. There is free will of course, but the temptation to cede ground is probably greater.

It is missing the point. Of course anyone can make a decision but men being men (if they're not gay or asexual), are vulnerable to feminine wiles. Most men can be worn down enough over time to cave in if lust or other certain emotions are present enough.

Anyways, to veer back towards the topic- I'm worried about the Tumblr migration to Newgrounds. I'm not going to let the users who brought down Tumblr because of illegal stuff like CP to bring down Newgrounds, which is the Kingdom of Adobe Flash and an emerging place for HTML5.

If NG accepts these people in, there should be somewhat closer supervision of them for a time. Newgrounds to my knowledge, doesn't allow actual live action pornography but does allow hentai or other forms of erotic art or animation. The only thing that falls within that category which might be illegal is lolicon or shotacon. I'm quite invested in Newgrounds staying legal and well off enough, because it was and is a place I grew fond of from a relatively early age. Always good to see Newgrounds doing what they do best. Animation, games, art, music, community.

It sounds like a large number of fandom-specific communities are relocating to Discord or Twitter, at least in the short term. Sounds like Pillowfort is a likely contender for the long-term replacement. Though I guess PornHub is also welcoming displaced Tumblr users too, so who knows.

There will be a new platform sooner or later, this certainly is not the first time a popular fandom (and porn) blogging site has taken a machinegun to its own foot, and I doubt it will be the last. Those Vox articles Kat linked already mention Livejournal rendering itself obsolete back with the Strikethrough exodus, what we're seeing with Tumblr is basically the same exact thing, and I have little reason to expect the results to be any different this time around. Tumblr might survive in the sense that "Hey, the website still exists", but they've effectively destroyed any reason their users have to trust them and like Livejournal before it, they're already relocating and unlikely to return.

1. According to the logic of the story, Eve ate the apple and gained knowledge of good and evil. Then told Adam to do the same while he still had no such knowledge of good and evil. While God is an asshole for telling people to not do something when they had no comprehension of why they should obey such an order and he knew that was the case, it is consistent with the logic of the story to think Eve "Knew" the morality of her action when she told Adam to eat the apple, and Adam didn't know the morality of it. You're then down to an AbrahamicVDarkMaterials interpretation of the action.
Either Eve did something blatantly evil that she knew to be evil (Corrupting an innocent), or, having gained Knowledge of Good and Evil, up and decided that God wasn't worth listening to anyway and was a jerk, and liberated Adam from his ignorance. Abrahamics believe the former, to some extent. (The very second a human being gained understanding of good and evil, their first act was to knowingly disobey god because he's an asshole, and the bible is merely a pack of lies told by a not-omnipotent merely powerful narcissistic deity)

2. It's probably a story about fucking and the snake and apples and so on is an allegory for penis and sex and so on. Especially as the punishment is their father figure saying; "Eve, y'all gonna get pregnant and its going to fucking hurt, Adam, get a fucking job." and throwing them out of the house, and the knowledge discussed is carnal knowledge. This makes Adams reaction interpretable in a number of ways. He could be throwing her under the bus for an act involving mutual consent in order to avoid the wrath of the father figure, or might not be, who knows. This also makes the story much more layered, since if it is intended as a double entendre, only Adults would understand the subtext and the "Knowledge" involved, whereas children would view the story literally, and only come to understand the story as they gain knowledge of sex. It's possible this subtext was lost over time. Notable is that Eve initiates the sex if this is the case. Given the morality of the time, Adam saying "It's her fault" in that context is consistent with beliefs at the time over men being unable to resist sex and so on, and makes the "Temptress" stuff make more sense. or it could be a rape thing, and likewise consistent with the beliefs of the time to ignore that happening to a guy.
This is probably why this goes unquestioned in the theology, if the subtext was understood for some time then it stands to reason nobody would point out until relatively recent times that what Adam did here was weird. It was understood by early commentators and theologians that it was indeed "Her fault" for "making" him have sex with her.

From my understanding, there does actually exist an industry database of child pornography that most mainstream porn websites use to help in flagging or filtering out such content. The content itself isn't saved (because if this was the case, it could be hacked and released into the wild which would be very bad) but rather, a one way cryptographic digest of the image or video in question is made and if any uploaded content happens to match a signature stored in that database, it isn't allowed and the IP of an uploader can potentially be flagged for the benefit of law enforcement.

The one major flaw of this database is that it obviously can't put a stop to any original pieces of child pornography, that doesn't get filtered out until a cryptographic digest of this new content is created and it is added into the database. The database of illegal content is continually updated on a regular basis because there are going to be unscrupulous people out there involved in creating or proliferating more of it.

Whatever human out there, who is involved in trying to visually determine for 100% certain whether a piece of content is legal or not and its origins, I imagine its a very difficult job to review flagged content and etc. If they're in law enforcement or are working as an admin for a website where such incidents are possible.
