I know of at least 25 different lifestyle accounts (Accounts on how to deal with Chronic Pain, for example) who've been deleted (or had their such contents deleted). Similar to accounts of LGBT people. Honestly, if an exodus like the one with Livejournal happens, I wouldn't be surprised.

It was almost definitely intentional. They said "Adult content", not necessarily "only" porn... and you'll find that while deleting porn can lead to some problems, it's never big enough to cause something as large as an exodus like what is on the verge of happening.

Why ban individual posts when you could specifically go after NSFW accounts. I believe that a ban on the distribution of works that have no purpose other than sexual titillation is the right choice and is in line with the first amendment.
