Gotta have a little bit of darkness within you just to survive. You gotta stoop low everyday it seems like. Stoop all the way down to the devil in these times. And then one day you look in the mirror and you realize that you ain't you anymore. You're just another monster, and thanks to your actions, someone else will eventually become as warped and twisted as you. Never forget that the best of us are just the best of a bad lot. Being at the top of a pile of feces doesn't make you anything but shit like the rest. Never forget that.

Freezic Vast wrote:There are still other websites and apps that do allow NSFW content, the problem is they are quite small in comparison to the likes of Tumblr, DeviantArt (Which doesn't even allow explicit NSFW content like intercourse to my knowledge) and Pixiv. But then again I don't use Tumblr a lot, I only go on there because some of the non-NSFW art that gets posted on DeviantArt can be traced to Tumblr. I feel like this outright ban of NSFW content will force NSFW artists to leave the app for other sites to post their adult content. I feel like we are seeing a death blow to an app like Tumblr and I don't think it will survive into 2020.

Because Tumblr had a crappy system for checking for Child Porn, which allowed it to be hosted on the website, but then when that was discovered Apple got into a massive frenzy and banned it's app from all of their products, leading to Verizon's decision to ban porn on the platform.
If they don't reverse it before the ban gets enacted, I imagine the site will finally die within a few weeks, IMO.

Doesn't Tumblr have a crapton of non-porn in it, though? I have a Tumblr account that I use rarely and my wall has a myriad of interesting things unrelated to porn. Is the porn stuff really that prevalent?
