George Herbert Walker Bush (June 12, 1924 – November 30, 2018) was an American politician who served as the 41st President of the United States from 1989 to 1993. Prior to assuming the presidency, Bush served as the 43rd Vice President of the United States from 1981 to 1989. A member of the Republican Party, he had previously been a Congressman, Ambassador and Director of Central Intelligence.
To borrow from the beginning of the Wikipedia article, and a small bit of background from CBS:
CBS wrote:His wife of 73 years, Barbara Bush, died in April and Mr. Bush was hospitalized the day after the funeral to be treated for an infection in his bloodstream. He suffered a number of health issues in his later years, including vascular parkinsonism, a condition similar to Parkinson's disease, and used a wheelchair to get around.
Obviously, this is a good time to be somewhat respectful, given his recently deceased nature.
Personally, I never really knew much about who he was or what he really did given my own age, but I do at least wish his family the best right now.
