If America of barely above 50% turnout and declining life expectancy can claim it is a model, why can't France? Why can't the Czech Republic?

And yet it lectures the world about being a model. Invaded plenty of countries, killed millions. Claims it's a model while it can barely get 50% of its people to vote and it can't keep them alive. So, if that can claim it is a model, then so can we, and so can Spain. Problem solved.

Why would we want more than 50% of our people to vote? The ones who don't tend to be less intelligent I wish we didn't ban poll tax..
Don't lecture us about imperialism, you only are peaceful gudbois because your state is impotent. When you had the might, you waged war and expanded your holdings with a fury.

And yet, in today's world, we don't. I know, I know, the past is so hard to leave for so many... But time progresses, and so, unfortunately, must we.
Anyway, again, your opinion and who you think should or shouldn't vote is irrelevant. America lectures all of planet Earth and any aliens we will soon meet about everything and anything, and Americans trot the globe dispensing unsolicited remarks and criticisms. And yet, America can barely get more than 50% of its eligible citizenry, who haven't permanently lost their civic rights like millions of Americans have, to vote; and can't keep them alive.
And if that country claims to be the model that can dispense criticisms and scathing reports about others, then France and Italy are models too.

France only doesn't do what we do because France is no longer strong enough to.

I'm relying on English articles and google translate for that whole "leftists in france" spiel. But isn't it true Benoît Hamon declined to join the march for fear of marching side-by-side with the far right? And I understand Mélenchon dragged his feet over anything other than tentative support until late in developments?Olerand wrote:"Leftists in France"?... Uh... Maybe some on the Parisian Anglo-Saxon "left" bobo side, who inherently cannot find themselves supporting a movement manned mostly by whites. But by and large, the "left" isn't calling them fascist at all. How could they when the polls show a majority of the country supports them, and when the left-wing populist leader Mélenchon fancies himself a chieftain of the movement?

Not that I'm sure it would be a good thing for Mélenchon to get involved. There's enough claims of Russian meddling already.

Does Hamon actually still exist politically?

Like when the police use tear gas? I wouldn't be mad about that, personally.
Weren't the deaths accidents?
If the police used tear gas to stop a violent riot and save lives, then yes, its justified.
What you are talking about however, is a violent riot which killed a person, injured others and destroyed lots of valuable property....in order to end a fuel tax increase. In a country that is in severe debt. How are they even comparable with each other?
